To Cross the GuyandotteI always hated crossing that rickety, bare-boned bridge  Into tiny, tiny Henlawson, birthplace of tales.   
That squat, hoary house sitting pertly on the hillside  Had borne witness to a multitude of memories:  Bird legged and petite, Anna Jean was never afraid  To show neighbor boys how to really shoot marbles,  And her brother Elmer wowed them all  By carving accurate likenesses into tree trunks,  By seeking his fortune way out west.   
Years later, a new generation found themselves  Singing fresh hits by the Jacksons and the Osmonds  Into deodorant cans while hamming it up &n To Cross the Guyandotte

Hey thanks for commenting and making my piece a favorite. That's awesome. It's been a while since I've put any art on Deviant, but I might do some more soon. Originally that was going to be 1 of 4 pieces (all SATF related - one per section).
